Safran arrived in the Galapagos on Friday June 13 ! after a short 4 days of navigation from Esmareldas ( Ecuador) for 620 Nautical miles ( 1150Km for the one s of you who don't sail !)
First time since Panama they had a good steady wind for 4 days , although not a very comfortable ...
After resting for one day, anchored at the Isle of Genovesa, they crossed the Line June 14. We don't know yet if the tradition was 100% followed but we do know they had Champagne !!!

Hi all we are excited that you are in the Galapagos, Theo is very jealous though and wishes she was there as she is a reptile enthusiast. Luckily, coinciding your voyage John, Ben and Hyla saw a turtle crossing a road and it has since taken up residence in the frog pond out back... a small consolation...
