On avance bien a 7-8 noueuds grand largue avec un vent regulier de 20 a 25 noeuds
sous GV 2 ris et genois roule d'un petit tiers.
a part quelques oiseaux , des dauphins et les poissons volants aucun signe de vie
depuis notre depart des galapagos. XAVIER

We are sailing well at 7 to 8 knots , with a regular wind at 20 to 25 knots with both sails up but slightly reduced
aside from a few birds, dolphins and flying fishes, no sign of life since we left the Galapagos)
Avant de transferer mon poste de Routeur a Santeny et ensuite a Saint Lunaire pour l'ete ( Je quitte la Californie demain) j ai eu longuement Xavier au telephone et tout va bien a bord.
Le bon vent porteur les obligent a piquer un peu vers le sud pour ne pas avoir a naviguer plein vent arriere et donc ils risquent d'arriver sur l'ile de Futa Hiva au sud des Marquises le 14 Juillet.
Je suis sur que tous , enfants et parents apprecieront un petit mot a leur arrivee . Ils sont presses d etre aux Marquises ou ils vont rester un mois . Alors un petit mot leur fera surement plaisir, sur leur blog ou sur leur mail yahoo

(Before moving my job to France for the summer, I just spoke with Xavier and everyhting is dgoing well on board. The favorable winds are pushing Safran fast towards Futa Hiva, the southern islands of the Marquises where they expect to arrive on July 14
I am sure that parents and children will be happy to have a note waiting for them , either on their Email or on the blog.. ( isabelle@bouan.net or Xavier@bouan.net )They will stay in the Marquises for about a month , resting ands enjoying it.
They caught a 1.3 m Mahi Mahi or similar today but , they don't want to eat fish any more and send it back to the sharks! They are ready to be on the solid ground !!!
